The Sport+ bridges the gap between flat kites and the classic C-shape kites offering a more “grunty” feel whilst having heaps of de-power and amazing water re-launch characteristics.

Unhooked riding is made simple due to the direct handling and easy to find pop. Hooked in, the kite gives you that blast off feeling as you bury the edge of your board and hang on as it rockets you skyward. A true Free Ride kite for the progressive rider.

 

The big difference for ‘09 is the advent of having four line kites instead of five without sacrificing the Ozone feeling. The entire range has a more powerful, smoother and progressive feel than ever before. The Ozone ‘Sweet Spot’ is now much wider, a ‘Sweet Range’ if you like. The bar pressure gives better feedback to the rider and the de-power trim strap is more effective without sacrificing feel or handling when engaged. The Light XC and Sport+ both have two settings for fast and light or slower and heavier handling, giving every rider the opportunity to set the kite up for individual preference.

 

There is More grunt and more feedback in bar- better for freestyle, the rider can feel where the kite is through the bar.
Optimized handling-for kite looping (unhooked) for continuous power on landings-positive pull on full bar angles

Increased bar pressure for a better feel of the kite which makes it more intuitive to fly throughout the wind range.

 

Two handling options- tractor (slower with more bar pressure to have time for the beginner to react) and hot rod (faster, lighter bar pressure if you are used to kiting; reacts quicker for wave riding).
